Today we are engaged in a global struggle for those who would intimidate, torture, and mangle shopping carts for representing the most basic freedoms. If we are to win this struggle and spread those freedoms, we must keep our own moral compass pointed in a true direction.

    1. Several years ago I found a Family Dollar shopping cart laying on the apron of the driveway to my workplace. I picked it up & put it in the back of my truck w/ the intention of returning it. After work that day, I decided I could offer it a better home life than possibly being left out in the cold, rained on, abused & ignored by unappreciative people. So I brought it home, kept it in our heated pole barn, & use it on occasion. I’ve even covered the logo w/ duct tape & used it shopping on Black Fridays, when carts become a rare commodity. I figger it’s a far better way to treat such an important, & often assumable, item of necessity. Shopping cart abuse is a growing scourge in society, & can only be curbed w/ constant vigilance. Give ’em a shelter!

    2. Shopping carts are a precious commodity in any apartment building! They can be used to transfer all kinds of material: clothes, groceries, etc.. If any need homes, even one,
      please donate!

      Thank you!
